If you believe that black labradoodle puppies can only see black and white, then you believe in a myth. Dogs might not have as many cones — the part of the eye that allows us to see color — as humans, but they still have enough to see yellows and blues. Their sense of color is just more limited than ours. It’s not black and white, though.
What’s also weird is that that’s not the only myth people mistakenly believe about dogs, either. Here are just a few other “facts” that need debunking.
Dogs Will Be Fine Left in a Car If the Window Is Cracked.
Never, ever leave black labradoodle puppies alone in the car, even if it is just for a minute. The indoor temperature of a vehicle can rise quickly, even in cooler weather. Leaving black labradoodle puppies inside these toasting vehciles can be as bad as putting them in an oven.
A Dog Wagging Its Tail Is Happy.
Just because black labradoodle puppies wave their tails doesn’t mean they’re happy. It’s just a physical cue that communicates their intent. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re happy. It might mean that they’re agitated, excited, or feeling some other way.
Dogs Enjoy Tasty Foods.
You might be tempted to give your pooch a taste of your steak, but it won’t matter to him or her whether you give them a piece of steak or a piece of your microwaved meatloaf. Dogs like black labradoodle puppies have poor taste buds, which means they don’t have much taste at all. They eat primarily based on their sense of smell.
Who would have thought that black and chocolate labradoodle puppies weren’t color blind? Or that you couldn’t leave Australian labradoodle puppies in the car, even for a minute? Or that those hungry, miniature labradoodle puppies can’t taste what they eat?
If you know of any other “facts” about standard Australian labradoodles that need debunking, feel free to share in the comments.
